Debt Free Date does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
Everything you enter — debt names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and your strategy settings — is stored only on your device, using the operating system’s standard app storage. None of it is sent anywhere. There is no account to create, no server to sync with, and no backup we can read.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had a copy.
Debt Free Date offers a one-time purchase to unlock additional features. That transaction is handled by Apple, and by RevenueCat, which we use to verify whether a purchase is valid and to restore it if you reinstall the app or change devices.
For this to work, RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier for your installation, along with the purchase receipt Apple issues. It does not receive your name, email address, or any of the debt information you enter in the app. Apple’s own handling of your payment details is governed by Apple’s privacy policy; we never see your payment information.
If you turn on payment reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on the device itself and are not sent through any push server.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
